We recently released our first Meat Therapy seasoning, aptly called Coping Mechanism. If you know me and know my story, then it is no surprise that we consider this rub “support you can savor.” We really took our time with this one. Twelve months, many samples, and one new co-packer later, our dream became a reality. A product handcrafted in Texas (GO TEXAN), Veteran- owned and made with love. Surprisingly, Coping Mechanism is not a BBQ rub. It is a small batch crafted specialty rub made from high quality ingredients that has been meticulously curated and prepared. Coping Mechanism is new, unexpected, different and best on anything that makes you feel good. It is a unique blend of herbs and spices that has a profound umami flavor profile great on meat, vegetables, and even popcorn!

CLASSIC PRIME RIB
Ingredients:
1, 3-5 bone rib roast
3 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp Coping Mechanism
Butcher’s twine
Directions:
- Start with removing the fat cap & separate the bones from the roast.
- coat with oil & season all sides well.
- tie bones back on with butcher’s twine insert probe & place on smoker at 225°
- pull once internal temp hits 120° & let rest 20 minutes.
- Heat up a Castiron or flattop to medium high heat. Add a tbsp of cooking oil & sear 90 seconds on each side of the roast
- rest for 30 minutes & then, ENJOY!
