A Oasis Pools & Outdoor Living didn’t emerge overnight. It sprouted from humble beginnings as A Oasis Landscaping & Irrigation back in 2014. Duncan’s initial venture into landscaping was driven by a desire to transform outdoor spaces into havens of beauty and functionality. However, he soon realized that to offer a complete outdoor living experience, the missing piece of the puzzle was a pool. This realization marked the birth of A Oasis Pools & Outdoor Living, expanding his services to include the installation and maintenance of pools alongside landscaping.
For Duncan, the motivation behind his business is about enriching the lives of families by creating spaces where they can forge lasting memories. He believes that the environments they craft have a profound impact on families, and this belief is reflected in every project undertaken by his one-of-a-kind team. Their commitment to values such as family, faith, honor, integrity, and servant leadership is evident in every interaction with clients.
In 2023, A Oasis Pools & Outdoor Living was named a Top 50 Pool Builder by the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance, a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the industry. They also won three excellence awards at the International Pool Spa & Patio Expo. The trifecta of outdoor solutions offered by the A Oasis name, also includes A Oasis Pool Service, the maintenance division dedicated to helping people extend the life of their pools.
Most of all, a unique factor that sets A Oasis apart from other builders is that all facets of your project, from design to construction, fall under the AO umbrella. This internal synergy ensures consistency and excellence throughout, providing our customers with peace of mind knowing their outdoor oasis is crafted by a dedicated team under one roof.
Duncan’s dedication doesn’t end with his business endeavors. He is deeply invested in giving back to his community. The A Oasis family of companies proudly supports various local initiatives and organizations, including Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center, Multiple FFAs, WISD Education Foundation, Maypearl Booster Club, Red Oak Firefighter’s Association, Waxahachie Junior Service League, etc.
“I have a lot of family – blood and created – and they’re all in the business,” Duncan shares. “The drive of my family would be my kids, raising them up in that ‘go-giver’ mindset.” Charley and his children traveled with The Avenue Church to Guatemala.
Recently, in a move to streamline operations and enhance customer service, A Oasis Pools & Outdoor Living brought its headquarters to Charley’s land in Waxahachie. Here, all three companies—A Oasis Pools & Outdoor Living, A Oasis Landscaping & Irrigation, and A Oasis Pool Service—work synergistically to provide comprehensive outdoor solutions to customers and the community.
