WHEN THE OPPORTUNITY AROSE FOR TIM AND I TO HAVE OUR OWN STUDIO/EVENT SPACE, WE JUMPED AT THE CHANCE.
We had been dreaming of an opportunity like this for years. Being in the wedding industry for 5+ years as photographers allowed us to see what we thought would make an ideal space for beautiful natural light photographs. We envisioned an indoor space full of natural ight, lots of white, huge windows, and clean lines.
We found a property containing a small building situated on 10 acres in south Waxahachie and thought it was the perfect spot. With gusto we began the remodeling process. On November 10th, 2019 we celebrated our grand opening. Family, friends, and even vendors we had befriended in the wedding industry came out to support our new venture. We also invited the community to come and celebrate with us.

We describe our space as clean and minimalistic with the opportunity to create anything the imagination can dream up. Clients will find a blank canvas in which to add any elements with ease. Our space is transformative, with the ability to host intimate weddings to graduation parties to creative photo sessions. Because of the large acreage, couples choosing to marry at Stem & Light can choose to marry in our garden patio area, open field, or anywhere they wish within our property. Our front door is welcoming and our color palette is timeless. You will see us constantly adding to our landscaping.
