A CONVERSATION WITH KELLY HALE & KRISTA BARTOS
What began as a shared passion
for helping friends and
neighbors with their homes
has grown into a thriving
business serving homeowners
across North Texas. Kelly
Hale and Krista Bartos, the
team behind Multitudes Home, are known for
creating spaces that feel layered, welcoming,
and deeply personal to the people who live in
them. We sat down with Kelly and Krista to learn
more about their journey into the design world
and what they now offer their clients.
Q: HOW DID MULTITUDES HOME
BEGIN?
KELLY: We started our business in 2023,
and in many ways, it began simply because
people kept asking us for help with their
homes. Friends would say, “You should be
doing this professionally.” We both had a love
for decorating and a good eye for spaces, but
at the time, we didn’t know much about the
industry itself.
KRISTA: Once we opened the business, we
quickly realized how much there was to
learn. Our path into design didn’t begin in
a traditional classroom, but through hands-
on experience with clients, vendors, and
construction professionals, we’ve developed
a deep understanding of how thoughtful, well-
designed homes come together.
Q: HOW HAS YOUR WORK EVOLVED
SINCE THOSE EARLY DAYS?
KELLY: In the beginning, we probably would
have described ourselves as decorators.
We were helping clients select furnishings,
artwork, and accessories. But over time, our
projects have naturally grown in scope. Today
we are involved in a wide range of projects—
from room-by-room decorating to full-home
renovations.
KRISTA: Right now, we have several exciting
projects underway, including a full-home
renovation, a kitchen addition, and a primary
bathroom renovation. As our projects have
grown, we’ve also become more involved
in the renovation process itself. Today, we
often work alongside contractors and trade
professionals to help guide selections, layouts,
and design decisions before construction
begins. We’ve learned that thoughtful planning
early in a project can make a tremendous
difference in how smoothly a renovation
unfolds—and in how successful the finished

space ultimately feels for the homeowner. And,
we continue to also work with clients who
want to thoughtfully furnish their homes over
time, room by room. Every project is different,
which keeps our work interesting. One exciting
way we’ve been able to help homeowners this
year is by creating 3D walkthrough renderings
so our clients can visualize their space before
construction or before making major purchases.
Q: WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER
HOMEOWNERS TODAY?
KELLY: Our work really covers the full spectrum of home design. Some clients come to us because they are renovating their homes and need guidance
in coordinating selections and working alongside
their contractor. Others simply want help making
their home feel finished and reflective of their personality.
KRISTA: We love that balance. Some projects involve large structural changes, while others are
about layering a space with the right furniture,
textiles, lighting, and artwork. We also offer a
variety of à la carte services depending on what a
homeowner needs. Ultimately, our goal is to help
people feel confident about the decisions they’re
making in their home.
Q: HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY?
KELLY: We try not to box ourselves into one specific style. People naturally gravitate toward
different aesthetics, so our focus is always on
creating a home that reflects the people who live
there.
KRISTA: However, even though we help clients with various types of design styles, we’re
personally very drawn to spaces that feel timeless
and layered. Our strengths lie in mixing antiques
with newer pieces, using natural materials, or
allowing a home to evolve over time instead of
trying to make everything perfect all at once. If a
client asks about trends, we don’t necessarily say
no—but we do encourage them to focus on what
they truly love. Trends come and go quickly, but
when a home reflects your life and your story, it
never feels outdated.
Q: WHAT INSPIRES THE WORK YOU DO?
KELLY: Our mission really guides everything we do. At Multitudes Home, we believe your home
should feel like you—a place that reflects your
heart, your joys, and the life you live.
KRISTA: When a space is designed around what truly matters to someone, it becomes more than just beautiful. It becomes authentic, and that’s
what we want every client to experience.
Q: WHAT PROJECTS ARE YOU CURRENTLY
WORKING ON?
KRISTA: We currently have several major projects underway
across North Texas, including the Blue Heron Project, Bristol
Homestead, Modern Lakehouse Retreat, and the Graham Project.
While many of these projects are still in progress, each represents
our thoughtful, collaborative approach.
KELLY: We love being part of the journey as a home evolves. Most
projects take time, but that often leads to the most meaningful
results.

Q: WHAT DO YOU HOPE CLIENTS EXPERIENCE
WHEN WORKING WITH YOU?
KRISTA: We want people to feel supported and excited about
their home. Designing a space can feel overwhelming, especially
during renovations, and we love helping bring clarity to the
process.
KELLY: At the end of the day, the most important thing is that a
homeowner walks into their space and feels like it truly belongs
to them.
