THE WAXAHACHIE FARMERS MARKET & more
There’s one thing you can always count on in Waxahachie, Texas — a Saturday morning full of homegrown hospitality at the Waxahachie Farmers Market. Located at 701 Howard Road, this community favorite is open year-round, rain or shine, and features more than 40 local vendors offering something special for everyone in the family.
FRESH, FARM-RAISED PRODUCE, EGGS, & MEATS LINE THE AISLES…
…alongside locally sourced honey, salsas, jams, jellies, and homemade canned goods that keep shoppers coming back for more! If you’ve got a sweet tooth, be sure to arrive early — the freshly baked goods are a hot commodity and tend to sell out fast! Beyond food, the market also showcases handmade items, natural soaps, and opportunities to learn from local organizations like the Ellis County Master Gardeners. Each weekend brings new activities and friendly faces, making the market a perfect gathering place for locals and visitors alike! The Waxahachie Farmers Market divides the year into two main seasons to accommodate Texas weather. The Fall/Winter Season runs from November 1st, 2025 – April 25th, 2026, with hours from 9a.m. – 1p.m.

Note: The market will close January 3rd–31st of 2026, for annual building and site maintenance, and will be re- opening on Saturday, February 7th.
The Spring/Summer Season kicks off May 2nd, 2026, with hours from 8a.m. – 1p.m. The south side of downtown serves up more than just the Farmers Market on the weekends. On a daily basis, FRESH Market Coffee, the Waxahachie Creek Hike & Bike Trail, Boyce Feed & Grain, Wags-a-Hachie Dog Park, and Park are local favorites with something for everyone.
